RV Window Opening (Rough Hole Opening):
The rough hole cutout must be 1/4" larger than the inside dimension of the window. The radius of each corner is 3 5/8"
Foam Tape:
Place foam tape (with a suitable adhesive backing) on the wide outer flange of the window (the part of the window frame that seals against the outside wall). Place the foam tape joint along the bottom of the window. Butt the ends securely with no overlap.
RV Window Installation:
- Place the RV window in the hole cutout. Be sure the weep holes are on the bottom. Spacer blocks are provided to t center the RV window in the opening. DO NOT REMOVE THE SPACER BLOCKS.
- Fit the clamp ring against the RV window. The holes in the clamp ring should align withe the screw groove in the RV window.
- Install eight #8 x 1/2" or 5/8" type "A" starter screws at radius corners (see illustration below). Do not fully tighten the starter screws until the other screws have been installed.
- Install remaining screws using a pointed awl to align clamp ring with the screw groove if necessary.
